Authors instructions

Submissions to ETTC’25 must adhere to the following requirements :

1. Paper Submission Guidelines

1.1 Key Dates

  • Initial Paper Submission Deadline: October 25, 2024
  • Final Paper Submission Deadline: January 17, 2025
  • Acceptance Notification: March 15, 2025
  • Full Paper Delivery Deadline: April 30, 2025
  • Registration Opening: March 1, 2025
  • Event Dates: June 10–11, 2025

1.2 Submission Requirements

Format and Layout

  • Language: English 
  • Page Size: A4 (21 x 29.7 cm)
  • Layout: Two-column format, justified text.
  • Margins:
    • Top: 30 mm
    • Bottom: 26 mm
    • Left/Right: 16 mm
  • Font: Times New Roman
    • Title: 16 pt, bold, centered
    • Authors: 12 pt, italic, centered
    • Affiliations: 10 pt, centered
    • Main text: 10 pt, single-spaced

Length and Content

  • Abstract: Maximum 300 words summarizing the objectives, methodology, and results.
  • Keywords: Include 3–5 keywords.
  • Length: Maximum 6 pages (including figures, tables, and references).

1.3 Templates and Submission Process

File Naming Convention

  • Save as: ETTC2025_[LastName].pdf
  • For multiple submissions, use: ETTC2025_[LastName]-1.pdf, ETTC2025_[LastName]-2.pdf, etc.

Submission Platform

Submit all papers through the official EasyChair Platform.

1.4 Final Submission

After acceptance, authors must:

  1. Revise and upload the camera-ready paper by April 30, 2025.
  2. Follow the naming convention: ETTC2025_[PaperNumber].pdf.

2. Oral Presentation Guidelines

2.1 Presentation Time Management

  • Total Duration: 30 minutes
    • Presentation: 25 minutes maximum
    • Q&A: 5 minutes
  • Pacing: Aim for no more than 150 words/minute.

Session chairs will ensure strict adherence to time limits and assist with:

  • Presenting the session and introducing authors.
  • Facilitating Q&A and discussions.

Preparation of a Biography

Authors must prepare a brief biography (approx. 3–4 lines), which session chairs will use for introductions.

2.2 Presentation Materials

Preparation of Slides

  • Font Sizes:
      • Headings: 32 pt
      • Text: 22–28 pt
  • Content Layout:
    • Maximum 10 lines or equations per slide.
    • Use horizontal (landscape) format.
    • Allow 1–3 minutes per slide for commentary.

Technical Requirements

Authors will have access to:

  • A PC-compatible video projector.
  • A PC with PowerPoint installed.

File Submission

  • Provide the presentation file (via USB) at least half a day before your session in the Pre-view Room.
  • The file will be uploaded to the session’s PC and deleted after the presentation.
